THE LEGEND OF THE STAR

At the beginning of the humanity, a Star landed on Earth. It was emitting a blinding light and weird noises. By fear of the unknown, no one dared to approach It. However a man, out of curiosity, approached the Star and found out that It was calling for help because It was dying. Filled with compassion, he spent a year beside the dying Star, supporting It. And every month, one more person joined them. To thank them for supporting it till the end, the Star gave them the power to demonstrate in a special way their desires, their convictions, their hopes and their fears thanks to the Essence. That's the way the first clan leaders came into existence on Earth.

THE LAST WAR

No one knows why this war broke out, no one knows why it ended up that way. One day, the Star Clan Leader ordered to launch an attack on the continent, especially against his rivals, the Sword Clan and the Beast Clan. It was a war so murderous that it decimated half of the peoples. But, on the last day of war, almost 4 years ago, the Star People entirely disappeared in a very strange way from the battlefields, the cities, the isles and the continent.

 THE LAST PEOPLES

The Beasts People 



The legend says that the first tribe leader was a hunter. The essence of each individual of this people is paired with a beast’s. In terms of number, the Beasts People is the most important on the continent. Second biggest concurrent to the Star People, they are one of the great winners of the Last War, when the Star People disappeared and now occupy a part of the territories owned by the Disappeared People.
Current Clan Leader: Queen Victory and her partner Celest.

The Sword People

The legend says that the first Clan leader was a soldier. The essence of each individual of this people revealed itself fully when paired with a weapon. First rival of the Star People, they are the great winner of the Last War and took a big part of the territories of the Disappeared People. The Sword Clan has always been very close to the Up People.

The Upp People



The origins of this clan is kept secret. Nobody really knows what their essence is able to do. The Up People's territories are tightly protected by the Sword People.

The Plants People

The legend says that the first Clan Leader was herbalist. The essence of every individual from this People is fully revealed when in contact with vegetal material. Heavily weakened during the Last War, the Plants People got annexed by the Star People for many years. At the end of the War, the People isolated themselves on an island.

THE DISAPPEARED PEOPLE

The Star People


The legend says that the first Clan Leader suffered from a violent disease and that the Star allowed him to fight death. The essence of this People is unique, it takes form from its own and doesn’t need anything else apart from the individual to reveal itself at the opposite of the other People. The last Clan Leader launched an assault on the continent, provoking the disappearance and the weakening of number of tribes, but nobody knew why. The last day of the War, the whole Star People vanished from Earth, and again nobody why and how. A lot of people don’t believe to their disappearance.

The Silk People

The legend says that the first Clan Leader was toys maker. The essence of this clan is paired with fabrics. They were the first People attacked by the Star People during the Last War. Weak in terms of number, this attack and the territorial occupation by the Star People were enough to cause their extinction.

The Shadow People




The legend says that the first Clan leader was a Shadow Puppeeter. The essence of this Clan fully reveals itself from the individual's skull to take the form of a monster, it also contains lethal poison. During the Last War, the Clan Leader Kore contracted an alliance with the Star People but the latter turned against them, without any explanations, few months after the first attack. Taken by surprise, the Clan Leader and their best fighters are killed, leaving the rest of the clan defenceless, two weeks were enough for the Stars People to extermine them until the last man alive.

The Soul People

The legend says that the first Clan leader was blind. The essence of this People reveals itself fully only when encountering someone not from the Soul Clan, when taking possession of their Soul or their essence power. An exceptional power of their essence and especially redoubtable, which makes it the ennemy of every other essence. Few months after the first attack of the Star People, the Star People was afflicted with an unprecedented epidemy which dangerously weakened them. The different People took advantage of the Last War to exterminate them.

About ten People disappeared centuries before the Last War.

The withouts

The legend denounces the withouts who let the Star die. The withouts are considered sick because they don’t have any essence, they are feared by the other Clans because this feature is genetically transmitted. The withouts don’t have their own territory, they must then stay discreet, even inexistent on the People’s territories they live in. Hunt down for centuries, tensions between withouts and Clans became more peaceful, but the withouts are not protected against persecutions.
